Brian is an omega. He and his best friend Dom rent an apartment not too far from the New Jersey town where they grew up, and they have a job waiting tables. Brian has been in love with Luke, an alpha friend of Dom’s, for years. Unfortunately, his excruciating shyness has made it impossible for him to take any opportunity to express himself to Luke, and he’s mostly hung out in the background.

Luke is a carpenter in central New Jersey, and he’s also and alpha. He’s been after Brian, his friend Dom’s roommate, for years, but he just can’t seem to get through to Brian and he’s just about at his wit’s end.

On one night, Luke’s roommates throw a house party. Dom attends, eager to get out and party. Brian stays home, too shy to put himself out there. Luke gives up on Brian and has a one night stand with Dom.

Luke and Dom don’t want anything more than that. Their desire to stay friends only doesn’t change when they discover that Dom is pregnant with Luke’s child. In fact, the emergency only brings Luke and Brian even closer together. They work out a plan for the future, one that allows for everyone’s happiness.

Dom’s very traditional parents have other plans. They will stop at nothing to ensure that Luke and Dom wind up together, regardless of Dom’s wishes. Will Luke and Brian get their happily ever after, or will tradition win over love?

This is a non-shifter male pregnancy gay romance book. This book contains sexually explicit content not suited for those under the age of 18. The book is approximately 60,000 words, has a happy ending and does not end in a cliffhanger. Additionally there is a bonus chapter at the end of the book. You can receive it by signing up to Aiden Bates' Insider's Club. However, the bonus chapter is NOT required to finish the book.

I loved it as usual. Although, location 3043 there was an obvious problem with the names while Brian and Tony were sitting down and talking together Brian got up and reached out to Brian. I think it would have been Tony got up and then reached out for Brian. Sorry for the negative statement I just thought you might like to know. I have really enjoyed your books keep writing.
I noticed that your list of authors is fairly decent I thought I would give you a suggestion B.A. Stretke his Crimson Covent series is excellent actually all that I have read of his just like yours. But I am not reading as often for enjoyment I'm going for a Bachelors degree in English I am going to try my hand at writing and see if it is a hobby or what? This shows errors happen but I do not feel it detracted from best friends and finding their respective mates in a roundabout way can't wait around or to not be first in your Alpha's life.

Unclaimed edition by Aiden Bates Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This was an okay book I give it 2,5 stars. First of all I didn't like the fact that Luke got Dom pregnant, all in all Luke kind of annoys me. Even Brian annoys me in the beginning. I had trouble feeling the allure of Lukeeven his scent didn't appeal to me as I can't stand the smell of coffee, the most attractive part of Luke might even be his parents. Dom is an amazing friend even though I staret off feeling like he was a betrayer.
I don't feel like Luke wants his relationship with Brian enough, he keeps putting going to see him off, either he is tired, scared or there is feeding. Grow a pair.
Brian is way too forgiving when Luke finally crawls back to see him. He is too soft and forgave him too easily.
I would have liked to know whether Steve mended his ways and if Joe was allowed to see his granddaughter.

I learned something new in this book, apparently Americans have a 'President's Day'

I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
***BRO-CODE*** "A friend does not sneak behind his best friend's back to have sex with the guy the best friend is in love with, especially when the friend knows it" Just wrong on so many levels.

Brian is an Omega which are usually more submissive. Luke is an Alpha which are usually more dominate. It was Luke's responsibility to pursue Brian especially with Brian's crippling shyness. Luke did not do that, no he sleeps with Brian's best friend and roommate Dom.

Out of all the characters, Brian was my favorite, however his eagerness and willingness to forgive Luke for his stupidity left me hollow.

I read the book through Unlimited and strangely enough I went and purchased it. It did have some redeeming qualities but as I said Luke and Dom were idiots. I just wish Brian could've found a more loving Alpha.
The plot was somewhat predictable; however, the story was very well paced and the book was the right length. The main characters are also very relatable and sympathetic. I recommend this book.
I keep rereading it. Dom is hilarious and adorable. He is definitely a favorite character but I keep rereading it for Brian. The story is not what I expected and I always enjoy being surprised.
I smiled, I laughed, I cried, then I was smiling again. Mr Bates has a way with his characters that brings me back again and again. The stories make me wish they could be real. Mr. Bates takes normal every day life and put a twist on it. I have always felt that love is love is love.
I hope everyone who reads these books enjoys them as much as I do.
Too much drama among annoying characters. The omega, Brian, is a self indulgent sad sack who is the very personification of Ray Barone's cousin Garard. The alpha, Luke, is spineless and whimsical. The only thing approaching a HEA is the disgruntling satisfaction that the two really deserve each other.
Again Aiden has taken a real life experience and wrote a Great book. He has a knack for seeing real life and putting it together so you open your eyes to problems in the here and now. I enjoy reading his work and seeing the world through his eyes.
